Cosmetic camouflage — sometimes called paramedical camouflage — uses special, highly pigment cosmetics developed for the medical and post-surgical community.

What is cosmetic camouflage makeup?

Cosmetic camouflage uses specialist, highly pigmented medical-grade makeup to even skin tone and conceal scars, birthmarks, vitiligo, rosacea, and post-surgical marks. Properly applied it is waterproof, transfer-resistant and lasts up to 16 hours.

Which conditions can be camouflaged?

Vitiligo, hyperpigmentation, port-wine birthmarks, surgical and acne scarring, tattoos, burns, rosacea and broken capillaries. During your consultation I will assess what is suitable for your skin.

What happens in a camouflage consultation?

A private 60–90 minute session where I colour-match your skin, demonstrate application on the area, and teach you to recreate the look at home. You will leave with a tailored product list.

Which products do you use?

Primarily Kryolan Dermacolor and Veil — both used by NHS skin camouflage services and my long-standing professional kit from the international Kryolan Makeup Team.

Is the makeup safe for sensitive or post-surgical skin?

Yes. The pigments used are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. For post-surgical clients, I will ask you to confirm with your surgeon that the area has fully healed.
